“Narniawocky”, or as it is more commonly known, “J by Lys Aranel
Twas spring, and the Witchs sledge
Did sink and stutter in the mud
All leafy was the roadside hedge
And the flowers were in bud.

Beware the Witchs wrath, dear Ed!
The wand that waves, the knifes quick slash!
Beware the Deplorable Word, once said,
The death of Charn in a flash!

She took her fearsome wand in hand
Long time her golden foe she sought,
So rested she by a roadside tree,
To the kill the child, she thought.

And as in wicked thought she stood,
Many creatures (Aslans Mane!)
Came crashing through the leafy wood
And shouted as they came!

One two! One two! A hullabaloo!
The evil rope went snap and snap.
The wine poured red, and with dear Ed,
They went rejoicing back.

And hast thou slain the wicked Witch?
No, we thought she was a tree!
Oh redemptive day! Callooh, Callay!
The children cried in glee.

Twas spring, and the Witchs sledge
Did sink and stutter in the mud.
All leafy was the roadside hedge
And the flowers were in bud.
