It seems like Narnia fans have been waiting for this piece of news for some time. The Official Narnia Facebook page has announced The Silver Chair’s director: Joe Johnston. If his name sounds familiar, you may know him from his work directing Captain America, along with other films such as Jumanji, Jurassic Park 3, and Hidalgo.

Well, there ought to be some nice action in SC, then! I’m super excited. X-D (Though I hope it doesn’t stray too far from the canon in order to get the action…)
Been looking up some more about this guy. Apparently he started out his career as a concept artist and in special effects. He worked on the first 3 Star Wars films and was part of the team that won the Visual Effects Oscar for Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. He also wrote a Star Wars novel.
