Chat Room Rules:
- You must be over 13.
- Names: Pick a name and stick with it. It should be clean and family-friendly. Make your name short and memorable, and maybe we won't have to nickname you. ;) Note: Staff reserves the right to ask anyone to change their screenname for any reason. Please be cooperative if we do. Please be aware that we already have enough users with the words "Narnian", "Queen", "Lady", "Lucy", and "Jill" in their screennames.
- Don't interrupt if you see that there is a serious discussion or conversation underway. Don't try to change the subject constantly if the conversation is boring you.
- When you ask someone a question, don't keep repeating yourself if they don't answer right away.
- When in the chat room alone, please do not spam randomness, and limit your posts to two or 3 until someone comes in.
- Scheduled chat events have priority over personal chatting.
- No roleplaying in the chat room. Dressing up is generally limited to our scheduled costume parties.
- Try to be quiet when staff has something they need to say. Sometimes our time is limited and we have to get it out. Then you can comment.
- Listen to staff. If they ask you to do something, please don't argue or pout. We're not trying to spoil your fun, we're doing this so the chat is fun for everyone.
- Only staff or senior members may change the topic.
- No AIM speak please. It confuses everyone, and is hard to understand. Use full words.
- Use capitalization wisely: Using all caps is the internet equivalent of shouting
- All beta/writing chat should be limited to the writer's chat room.
