Interesting comic. I can’t remember why Caspian follows them into the woods in the movie; did he see some Telmarines ride off into the trees?
(Even if he did, though, did he really think he could defeat them on his own?)
Really, we’re never told why Caspian shows up. Susan and Lucy are just being chased, Susan leaps off the horse and sends Lucy onward, and with no warning or reason to be there, Caspian pops out of the trees to rescue them. Like “HELLO! I’ve TOTALLY been stalking you!!!”
