We've always prided ourselves in being a loving community with Christian values, but open to all. We're more than just a "fan site" – we're a community of like-minded people who can share and discuss what we find important. Over the years, some of our members have gone through really tough and life-changing times and the love and support from TLC has been an enormous comfort (I can attest to this myself).
This post is an encouragement to keep up that attitude of support and love that has been a key part of the TLC community. While we encourage discussion and and are open to differing opinions and even disagreements, we ask that all comments be made in love and with the intention of building up other members. If you're not sure whether something you are going to say will offend or hurt other members, think it through before posting, and imagine how you would feel if someone said that to you. This applies to both what is said on the public forums and in private messages.
Failure to adhere to our rules will result in action from the staff and could lead to temporary or permanent bans. If any member feels unsafe or that there has been a violation of the rules, please feel free to PM your concerns to one of the admins and we will respond.
I ask you all, whether you have been on the site 18 days or 18 years, to take some time to re-read the forum rules and guidelines (on the link below) as a reminder of what is expected on the site (there have been some minor changes made to it recently, but the essential rules remain unchanged).
