The only writing I'm doing this month is for my PhD. I might enter in what I do write to my total to motivate myself although at the moment I'm doing more reading of literature than writing.
NaNo rebels unite! That's what I did last year on account of moving during NaNo season. And that's what NaNo is more than anything else, when it comes down to it - a motivation tool. No matter whether you hit the goal or not, it's still that much more than you had at the start of the month. Whether you're on-goal, above it, or below it, you're still writing, and that's nothing to sneeze at. So cheers to all of y'all! I'm still a tad behind myself, but there's plenty more month yet in which to catch up.
