Re: My life is Narnia

Today my sister had us over to her house to move an old wardrobe upstairs to... wait for it...

Re: Summer Challenge 2020 - LWW Sharing thread

@Ariel: I've often wondered about the lamppost myself. Here's a link to where I brought it up on the Narniaweb forum a while ago: https://community.narniaweb.com/index.php/community/talk-about-narnia/the-problem-of-the-lamppost/#post-4291 Some have suggested that the White Stag somehow had a confusi...

Re: Summer Challenge 2020 - LWW Sharing thread

@renegade: Love all the movie-inspired art! Swanwhite, I agree with you, Susan seems to get quite settled into each reality she lives in- to the point she's reluctant to leave or accept another. Ironic that later in life she would be skeptical about the same world she was so skeptical about leaving....

Re: Summer Challenge 2020 - LWW Sharing thread

@Swanwhite: Love the vandalized lion statue! That poor dude usually never gets his own fanart. @renegadeoftheshire: Your art in general is awesome, but I especially love the silhouette of Aslan and Edmund. Very cool effect. I'm mainly relying on my last reading of the book for this, but I have a few...

Re: My life is Narnia

Re: My life is Narnia

The other day my brother and dad and I went fishing on a lake which led into a narrow stream flanked by high banks with trees on each side. I was rowing the boat... and both me and my brother were thinking, "This feels SO much like that scene in Prince Caspian when they're taking the boat to As...

Re: My life is Narnia

Today, a local church advertised their new sermon series... entitled "God is on the move."
Upon which I muttered, "Perhaps has already landed."

Re: My life is Narnia

Whilst flipping through the bibliography of a book tonight, I came across a sourcebook written by someone whose last name was Aslan... I felt the corner of my mouth go up as soon as I saw that!

Re: My life is Narnia

Whilst walking through the department above the one I work in, I chanced to see that their quote of the month was from C.S. Lewis! :D (The quote was "Integrity is doing what's right even when no one's looking." I'm not 100% sure of the authenticity of that though. I know there are a lot of...
