Re: Favourite aspects of the Walden Films
I loved basically everything in LWW. But honestly, I loved Diggory in LWW. I like how they really incorporated the fact that he had been to Narnia before, which was hinted at in the books, but not as outright since MN hadn't been written yet. The designs of the wardrobe were also AMAZING and heavily...

Re: The Silver Chair - who would you cast?
What about Cate Blanchett for the role of LotGK? Kind of a Galadriel-esque type role, obviously with more evil. But I really like the idea of Gillian Anderson too, and Bradley James would be PERFECT for Rilian.
I think Chloe Grace Mortez could actually still play a really good Jill. She's only 16.

I think it means that Jesus offers redemption for past transgressions, but in order to really turn your life around and prevent the same mistakes in the future, you must break evil's power at the source.

Re: Where did the evil creatures come from?
Certainly, some of the species (such as the black dwarves, wolves, ghouls, hags, etc) seemed downright evil, but I think many of Jadis's supporters were no more than weak-willed, frightened Narnians threatened by her. Mr. Tumnus, of course, was in this category. Others, may have been perturbed by As...

exTarkheena
In a hole in the TLC forum, there lived exTarkheena TLC Name/Pronunciation: ex (like ex-boyfriend) Tar-kee-nah. I have been asked whether my username refers specifically to Aravis, or another Tarkheena that escaped to the Northern countries. I created it, referring to Aravis, but I sort of like the ...

Re: 50 years on - How has Lewis impacted your life?
Narnia, and the apologetic works of C.S. Lewis, have (we shall suffice to say) kept me from the broad and well-travelled road too many times to count. I can think of no greater compliment to Jack, as his friends called him, than the former. For one thing, I was introduced to the lovely, small, but t...

Re: I is Leaving/I is Back
Hiiii…. *grins sheepishly* It's been a long time since I've been able to spend time here. Suffice to say, personal obligations, school, and generally a failure on my behalf has prevented me from hanging out with you all. I've really missed it, though. It's good to see some familiar faces, and I hope...
