Re: Villanious Crush in Narnia Movies?

The only question I have is if LotGK had any feelings at all for Rillian? I tend to believe she did not. Rabadash and Uncle Andrew clearly have one-sided crushes, so it would be a bit awkward to expand upon this in the movie. Kind of like in Lego Batman where the villain keeps demanding that Batman ...

Re: Advatges and Disadvatages of Narnia Fanfic

Overall, I am opposed to fanfiction rewrites of a story that just change one thing because it can be seen as plagiarism and not really a fanfiction. Although, I think it would help one's writing skills to rewrite SC in first person. I do like fanfictions of missing scenes. There are things that can'...

Re: Netflix Narnia Announcement

KoN, I didn't realize Netflix bought it without a rights reversion clause. What about when the copyright expires globally? Or will Netflix still own the rights to the words Narnia and Aslan which are trademarked?

Re: Hello, I'm Chris, And I've Finally Escaped The Wood Between The Worlds

Hi Chris, you have the most excellent intro ever. I am the Hermit of the Northern March. I first came to this site when I was 14 and thought I should get a username that sounded mysterious and very anonymous. I am a Christian, a girl, and an American. I work in healthcare and I do work with some cov...

Re: What have you been watching?

Maybe the horn was a replica?

It wouldn't make much sense since Lucy's cordial was clearly not a replica...

Replicas are not very useful. I bought a replica of Rhindon, but it is only for show. Apparently if it is swung the blade could break off the hilt.

Re: Could VDT be restructured as a single story arc?

I'll need to think about this but my initial thought is yes, it could, but it would probably skip half of the reasons that we like the story and feel even more condensed than Peter Jackson's LOTR movie adaptions. If we emphasized the relationship between Reepicheep and Eustace we could have that arc...

Re: Star Wars Discussion Thread (SPOILERS!!!!!!!!)

I come by every couple of weeks, but granted this forum used to have at least 10 active topics a day and I used to come by way more often. I think with other large discussion multi-fandom fansites like Reddit (which I'm not recommending), new Narnia fans are less likely to find TLC. I mean, if someo...

Re: Non-Narnian Fan Art

I like it. I didn't remember ever imagining Frodo as a blond before - and here he looks almost like an elf climbing trees! I think the movie posters had an effect on me even though I read the books before seeing the movies. The coloring you have and the lighting and shadows are truly spectacular! Wh...

Re: Greetings from Orik.

Hello, Orik! I'm glad you came to the forum, it's a good place to discuss things from the books. I had to look up the mirror cube too. It looks very tricky. Having a lot of hobbies is a good thing as long as you enjoy them. I've had a lot of hobbies: drawing, violin, dog training, building models fr...

Re: Greetings and salutations!

Hi, Netty! I'm glad you're here. I am the Hermit of the Northern March which is a little of a misnomer, but I thought the name sounded awesome when I was a teenager. I am a girl, an American, and a Christian. I like to draw a lot, but lately when I'm not working at the hospital I've been taking Span...
