I just hope they're not going to make it some cheesy, modern show like the BBC Robin Hood. I hope they keep true to the heart of Middle-Earth whatever the case.

Yeah I think it just does a "The Chronicles of Narnia, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" thing at the beginning. However, Voyage of the Dawn Treader did a lot with their ending credits; they did illustrations from the books whereas the other two movies are just scrolling white text on black ...

Hobbit- I know! It's crazy to think the first movie came out in 2005! It's been 12 years.
Ariel- You are right, it would make sense there would be such a new feel/look, seeing as we will be exploring new lands of Narnia we have not seen before

Tom Hiddleston in a Middle Earth adaptation would be too amazing for me to handle
I wonder if they are going to be basing it on Tolkien's works, but taking liberty with their own plotline? I'm just not so sure since it's a mini series?

I just saw Ragnarok the other day as well. There were instances of crude humor, but overall I enjoyed it. Loki, anyone??!?!
