Re: Star Wars Discussion Thread (SPOILERS!!!!!!!!)
Elanorelle Star Wars is great go and watch the orginal trilogie. Eh, not my thing. I only went because we made it into a family outing. :) I am sure Rey won't end up with Finn, which might be a reason for the inclusion of Rose. Looks like it will be her and Kylo/Ben from everything we've seen of th...

Re: Star Wars Discussion Thread (SPOILERS!!!!!!!!)
So, TLJ was the first and only SW film I've seen. Let me say, I was impressed that I enjoyed it as much as I did but don't think I'll get into the fandom. Loved the theme of failure "failure is the best teacher", as it was more believable and grounded without a win, even if it did make the...

Re: What have you been watching?
I watched Coco. It was such a beautiful and heartwarming film about the importance of family. Being half Mexican on my mom's side and only spending time with her family, I could connect with so much of the situations and the characters in general (like the whole Spanglish thing). My grandfather alwa...

Re: Marvel Movies *SPOILERS* Thread
Yes! I loved his progression, small as it might seem. I find it funny that he didn't turn out to be the tyrannical ruler after all, not taking the Odin thing into account. And that play! Also, we are owed a hug! That was terrible of Waititi to do. Never before have the words "I'm here." do...

Re: Marvel Movies *SPOILERS* Thread
I also saw Thor Ragnarok! Loved it! It was so hilarious and unexpected, don't think I have laughed so much during a movie in a long time. But yes, due to some crude humor and instances of violence, I would recommend to older viewers.

Palm trees? I sorta miss those. They remind me of California which feels so far away. *sighs*
Btw, hey all.

Re: What readest thou?
Lately, I've read a series-that-shall-not-be-named (if you get that reference and want to chat about it, that's cool) and really enjoyed it and it is now a favorite. Also reread The Hobbit and read The Silmarillion, which was amazing, especially for someone who enjoys histories and mythos. I listene...

@Alex: GIMP. It is free and not complicated once you get the feel for it. It is basically photoshop but open-source, so one can do image-manips of the same quality as long as one knows how.

Re: Shasta, Shasta, Corin
Languages are a passion of mine and my goal I life is to learn as many as possible, however difficult that task might be. :P Right now I am a B2/C1 level in German, since I spend the majority of my time working with this language and I use it constantly. I also have an okay grasp in French because I...
