Re: What have you been watching?

I haven't watched much yet this year honestly. I did see the new Black Panther film with my sisters and college friend, and generally enjoyed it. Other than that, just the occasional music and animal videos folks repost to social media. I'll let you know when that changes.

Hi! I might have been around sometimes back then but can't recall if I interacted with you.

How have you been doing?
The forums have been real quiet lately, but I wouldn't mind helping change that. ;)

Re: What readest thou?

Setting aside the great big in-progress pile for now to focus in on an online friendly acquaintance's newly published baby. A nice chunky fantasy novel. Took me a couple of chapters to get properly into it but I'm starting to really enjoy myself.

Re: What readest thou?

I just finished: -a poetry anthology, mostly devotional literature, by a former online acquaintance -part 2 of a graphic novel series retelling a scifi saga -children's illustrated of an adventure inspired by Inuit legend. Very nice painterly illustrations. -a reworking of the Twelve Dancing Princes...

Three books down so far this year. :) I have read: -a romance/mystery graphic novel about magical creatures -a YA fantasy about political intrigue and lost history and superpowers and a scheming failed queen's naive and well-intentioned daughter -a picture book about a mother shrew on a quest to the...

Re: What have you been watching?

I'm not familiar with that one. Was it different in ways you liked, or ways that annoyed you? I might revisit a couple of cartoon storylines I never finished this month, actually. Other than that, I'll be continuing Librarians and Leverage: Redemption with my sisters and college buddy. (Obligatory n...
