besides having some memory (I would need to check specifics) of hearing of either a side-note or a draft saying ex-Archenland rebels were some of Calormen's early settlers, I agree. Dark skinned works even a bit better for Telmarines than for Calormenes if you check origins. Probably some Telmarine...

Of Narnia? Hmmmmm, no, don't think so. Of Middle Earth? No, neither.

Of own imaginary countries for stories as yet not written, yes, though.

TPBM has had some possession earlier (camera, library, real estate, whatever) the loss of which is sometimes regretted and not yet compensated.

4 inches.

Less than a meter, but richer than most winters in Malmö region. There it is usually up to half a foot. Usually, not always.
