Re: A Tale of a Cushion
The premise was a little bit confusing because I feel like I am only reading half the story, but I get what you say about people saying that you are "isolated" because you are homeschooled. I was homeschooled too, but I was at church and with friends usually about 2 or 3 days a week, so I ...

HTTYD 1 is good on almost every level, though. In fiction writing they teach that there are 3 traditional conflicts: man against nature, man against man, and man against society. The first movie manages to have Hiccup face all three and has such a tight storyline that the movie feels complete. Every...

Mourn for society and the death of free speech. I would probably start using the term "Boxen" as a covert way to refer to Narnia. (Boxen is the imaginary talking animal world the Lewis brothers invented when they were kids.)

Yes, it is best not to take the adaptions too seriously so that we can enjoy them. And DT was better than some adaptions - such as the one for Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

I hope you find groups that want to make productions of HHB, Swan, and I look forward to hearing the songs. I made a very condensed script of HHB for my puppet group at church when I was a teenager, but our leader said that we couldn't do it. It would probably run about thirty minutes. It's still on...

Re: What have you been watching?
Speaking of non-Disney owned Marvel properties, I watched Spider-man: Far From Home . Overall, it kept the theme of Spider-man wrestling with being responsible relevant and the movie was different from the previous Spider-man movies that all occur in New York City because Spider-man is in Europe wit...

I went to see Toy Story 4 too. It is basically like the previous movies in the way it feels. I feel like Disney is using nostalgia so much in their movies, though. I watched the Christopher Robin movie as well recently and that had even more nostalgia. I am going to try to hold out on Aladdin and Th...

You have totally made it not look like craft foam. I thought at first that you had sculpted it out of clay. It has great precision.
