Re: I missed this place!
Augray, I'm glad you came back again and that you dreamed about this place. I kind of get what your saying about that you're dealing with more grown-up things right now. I sort of felt that same way during and right after nursing school and avoided this site. I have just seen too much and know too m...

Star, that's a good joke, thanks for sharing!
Hobbit, wow, maybe one day you'll remember them easily.

Re: What readest thou?
EveningStar, that's good that you're able to read Greek. I didn't realize the Hebrew torah had been changed. Are there any copies of the original Hebrew? I bought a Greek NT and grammar, but the list of verb tenses is numerous. I don't think I will be able to learn them without a class, so I'm takin...

Re: What have you been watching?
Earlier I said that I'd been watching The Dragon Prince, but I no longer suggest it. My sister has confirmed that the plot moves too slowly and then in the second series they promote an unbiblical redefinition of family.

Re: What have you been watching?
Pev, it's not anime, but the elves do sort of look like anime characters. I am not sure that it's the most interesting show. It's hard for me to tell because I don't get the jokes when I'm watching it in Spanish and so it seemed a little boring. I can't really say if it's worth it unless I watch it ...

Re: What have you been watching?
I recently finished all of Trollhunters and the first season of 3Below, both Tales of Arcadia series. I actually quite liked them. Well made for being kids animated shows by Dreamworks. Yes, those are good for being animated TV shows, I thought the 3rd season of Trollhunters was a little more inten...

Re: What have you been watching?
So my sister got Netflix again... I watched a few Christian movies, one was the Nicolas Cage Left Behind and the other was An Interview With God . The best thing about the newer Left Behind is that Nicolas Cage (i.e. the guy from National Treasure ) is in it. Otherwise, the movie is an action movie ...

I like this poem, EveningStar. It adds realism to the story.

Re: How To Train Your Dragon! The official HTTYD, and anything there related thread
Now, I'm not saying that Drago was a fabulous villain, but he had more presence than Grimmel. Grimmel is a clever guy, and I totally appreciated that, but he lacked in something. Maybe his plans weren't as grand as Drago's, or maybe as universal in its effect, I don't know. Side characters were lar...

Re: Narnian food!
Turkish Delight is good if you eat only one or two pieces at a time and buy authentic Turkish Delight from an imported food store.
I bought a tin of eel, but I haven't worked up the courage to try it yet. (I think it expired.)
