That's pretty, Marm!!I love diamond shapes in patterns. I made a really big hand-quilted crazy quilt once, but I haven't done any quilting for a long time.
Thank you, Hobbit!

Looking nice already, marmota! How big is that portion in the picture?

... I think I'd prefer not to be called Marm, please.
I love diamond shapes, too, but they're a bit of a pain compared to others, considering you sew together two sides cut off-grain!
I haven't actually made a full quilt yet, just quilted pillow covers, so... it's going to be interesting. But quicker than the other pattern I have quilt ambitions for! That one requires pattern piecing and at the moment, I have a quarter of a block done. This I sew partially in long strips (the flowered + striped corners get sewn as two long strips and then cut up and connected in opposition, if that makes sense), so it goes much faster. Each small square in the block is cca 5 cm x 5 cm (I'm going by the stripes for the size), so one block is 25 x 25. I'm imagining four blocks with something else between them crosswise, and maybe seven lengthwise? Still lots of blocks to go!

Well, I'm sure it'll look fantastic when it's all done.

I like it, Marmota! It's been ages since I've done any quilting. I like the cheerful colors you're using.
They might not need me but; they might.
I'll let my Head be just in sight;
A smile as small as mine might be
Precisely their necessity.

Thanks, Marmota!
That quilt is going to turn out lovely. I really like the vibrant colours you chose.

Re: Needlework and craft-work
Iiiiiiiii'm guessing this is the right thread to post this in. And I think the sizing is okay?? But, anyway, ♫ TA-DAAAA!!! I've been waiting forever to post these crown things here! The flowers are from wire frames, (hand-twisted; takes forever ) then glued -- kind of like a bubble wand with glue, and then painted with fingernail-polish. Then it all gets covered with floral tape and turned into what you see in those pictures down there. It took me about 2-3 days to make one of these, and lots of practice to get the flowers as good as they are -- even though they're nowhere near perfect.
<< top view!
I made three of these crowns for Tenny, Gyps, and Arli when they came, but I never got pictures of them. However, the green one in the pictures above is mine, MY OWN, MY PRECIOU-- *ahem*.

But seriously, that is amazing. I want to try it now...
If somebody has an idea for a Narnia comic that they weren't planning on making themselves, I <------ This offer still
would be so grateful if they would send it to me in a PM. I am running appallingly low on ideas...! <-- stands.
