@ Dazzle: Thanks! You could learn! Ya know, places like the local library, craft stores. They'd have books or maybe even lessons. :P

@ Ariel: ... whoa  Nobody's ever thought my work was that good before :P *struts around with a yarn tangle on head looking very sophistimacated* Yeah, sure! ;)

A good chunk of that is that I do not have the time or patience to figure out something like that at present, but yes, it is very nicely done and would definitely be a piece of art I'd be very proud to flaunt! :)

I'm pretty sure this is where this goes...

So I finished my plush Toothless about a month ago, I just didn't have time to take pictures until recently.

Face from the front:

Head from the top:

Close-up on the feet and claws:

Detail on the wings and fins:

Tail:
https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hp ... e=57333B3E

The tail got really twisted somehow - the left fin is the one that is actually missing (the prosthetic one), but when he's standing normally it looks like the right one is missing.
The head is also sewed on slightly crookedly (you can see that the seam on the head and the seam on the back don't line up).

But it's done! It took about 3 days of work (spread out over a few weeks) and it reaches from my ear to my knee - so, about 3 feet in length. He's very huggy :)

Ack! He's so cute! And the crooked head just makes it look like he's cocking it to one side. :D
