Costumes- Narnian and Non

I should make some sort of costume... However, I have no idea how to use a sewing machine.

I finally got pictures taken! My trim for the dress arrived this week and I was able to get it sewn on. I decided not to sew trim on the cuffs like Susan's dress. I have enough trim left to make a headband though. I included a picture of Susan's dress in the movie so you can compare the two. I made some changes to mine, most noticeable is the top neckline. Can't go walking around with my shoulders sticking out, so I had to change that. I'm not quite happy with the way the neckline turned out. I might have to work on that a bit more. The next think I modified is the trim. I chose silver trim because it matched the existing silver embroidery on the blue dress. I'm really happy with the way it turned out and I hope you enjoy the pictures!

How long did take to create it?

Um, that's a good question. I probably spent around 20 hours on it? That's a guess. I worked on the dress for about three days, and then another hour or two on the collar and trim.
