Well, yeah, my mom teaches the Sunday school. And I won't say anything about how much I've read and enjoyed the book because I'm sure that had absolutely no effect at all on her decision...

I'm currently reading The Last Battle - I tried to read all of the Narnia books in a week (kind of like this year's Winter Challenge, but not at the same time) and sadly, can't do it. The only reason I successfully made it to VDT is because I spent an entire afternoon reading and catching up - then with SC I decided to drop the ball and take my time.

Although one thing I noticed when I was re-reading MN: I've read these books so many times, and now when I pick them up again it feels like I'm not really reading them (which makes me kinda sad). Does anyone else find this?

@Shield: Sometimes I feel like that. And then other times, like last time I read LB or the time I realized that HHB was my new favourite, I was deeply moved.... It's like rediscovering the truth of "Amazing Grace" or being struck by something in a Scripture passage you've known backward and forward since you were knee-high to a grasshopper. Different things will stick out to you upon different readings.

Ender's Game is interesting; I read it last year. You'll have to let me know what you think of the other two books; I've seen the movie for the former and have some interest in the latter. :)
