Let School Go

The laptop glows white on the school desk today; not an email to be seen.
A kingdom of schoolwork and boredom, and it looks like I'm the queen.
The sun is shining and I want to go outside.
School keeps me in, however hard I try.

Don't let me out, don't let me see, be the schoolgirl I always have to be.
Study and write and do not go, until I know!

I don't care what my assignments say!

It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small, and the books that once controlled me can't get to me at all!
It's time to see what I can do, to take my tests and to get through.
Then I won't write or learn math rules! I'll be free!

So, I've started parodying all the Frozen songs to match this school theme. Here's "Do You Wanna Build a Snowman?". (An empty line means someone else is speaking. Hopefully you can figure that out. )
