Re: A Random Poem...

I don't like sonnets, but I wrote one for a poetry contest. But then I found out that I couldn't enter in the contest due to certain complications, so I figured I'd at least put it on here.
O’er open hills of verdant touch’d with gold
And through wide woods o’erarched with leafy green
Before my eyes there, slow but strong, unfold
The variations I each year have seen.
The harvest comes and goes quite overnight,
The trees begin more patiently to shift;
Then under skies of crystal blue and white
The golden-red and browning-green leaves drift.
The nomad birds, appalled by summer’s fall,
Take wing and leave the autumn world behind.
But I remain, for I adore it all,
And wander, yet more artistry to find.
Yet under all the autumn glory lies
The grass still reminiscing summer skies.
O’er open hills of verdant touch’d with gold
And through wide woods o’erarched with leafy green
Before my eyes there, slow but strong, unfold
The variations I each year have seen.
The harvest comes and goes quite overnight,
The trees begin more patiently to shift;
