Evil vs. Good

Yet another literature assignment....

Ever since the Garden of Eden, there has been a constant struggle between good and evil. Evil preys on the good, and we wonder why God hasn’t intervened, when most of the time, we bring evil upon ourselves. We question why God allows school shootings, when we kicked Him out of our schools long ago. We ask why our loved ones get cancer, when they have been smoking and mistreating their bodies for years. We demand answers when our children abandon the faith, when we never modeled the importance of church attendance ourselves. Maybe, instead of asking God why He allows bad things to happen, we should ask Him why He is so patient with us and our sins. Maybe we should bring Him back into schools. Maybe we should start treating our bodies like His temple. Maybe we should show our children that He is important. Maybe then He will hear from heaven, forgive our sins, and heal our land.
