Okay, I finally thought of one. 
That took a while...
Tidings I carried of sorrow and grief;
Messages brought from a fallen friend;
Light in the air as an autumn leaf,
And loyal to the end.
(So maybe that one is pretty easy...but whatever. At least I finally got it to rhyme, after several tries.
