So the kids went out and played in the snow.
A lot.

Even in very little snow. XD

And I stayed inside and read. and read. and read.

this is the warmest winter we've had here in the midwest, by far, at least in my area. it's only gotten down to freezing during the day twice. O.o

can i have some snow from someone, please?

We must be in different parts of the midwest since we've been dumped on the past two weekends here. Both times have been really pretty snow, though I hear from the snow removers in my home it's heavier than usual.

I live in the NW US too but it doesn't look like we'll be getting much more snow. It has been freezing though, even if most of the snow is melted away.

@Ela: YEs, it has.
I only ever get to ride in the bed of the pickup, because the cab is way too full, so I get all the effects of cold every time we go out somewhere.
And they are predicting sunshine. And THAT means more cold. XD -countrylife-
