Re: What have you been watching?
I'm not familiar with that one.
Was it different in ways you liked, or ways that annoyed you?
I might revisit a couple of cartoon storylines I never finished this month, actually. Other than that, I'll be continuing Librarians and Leverage: Redemption with my sisters and college buddy. (Obligatory note that Leverage: Redemption does contain some content which is not considered TLC-appropriate. I've still been loving the mystery/scheme of the day format and the continuing character development from the original series.)

Re: What have you been watching?
Two unrelated rabbit trails got me watching the documentary series “Churchill’s Bodyguard” and the 1993 “The Fugitive” (swear volume warning on that one). I also watched the first episode of the ‘60s show “The Fugitive”, but it wasn’t really what I was looking for. That said, I might revisit it after learning that it eventually gets around to the more mystery bit of the story.

I haven't watched much yet this year honestly. I did see the new Black Panther film with my sisters and college friend, and generally enjoyed it. Other than that, just the occasional music and animal videos folks repost to social media. I'll let you know when that changes.

Lily I watched the new Black Panter film with my younger brother too. He went to sleep.

Double posting to say I am watching the third season of Picard (not for younger audiences). Nevertheless it is very fun to watch.

Went to the Super Mario Bros Movie yesterday. Story could have used some buffing up and I would have liked to see some more done with a particular character arc, but I was entertained.

Started "The Ark" a serie that isn't for younger audiences. But very interesting and captivating sci-fi.

Re: What have you been watching?
I don’t think I’ve ever gone to a theater two weeks in a row for different films before, but I have now. (Would have been three films in three weeks, but the one that was going to be my third apparently will have a long scene of something I definitely don’t want, so….)
Anyway, the first was Sound of Freedom. A hard topic, but a good one to be aware of, and the film strikes a good balance between implication and not showing more than it needs to. (That said, I will acknowledge that even that may be too much for some viewers.) Very well produced too — some shots had such artistry as I felt I haven’t seen much lately.
The second was Mission: Impossible 7. I’ve watched the others twice in the last month and a half or so, and enjoy them (except 2; I have issues with that one). This one delivered to expectation, and I’m looking forward to the next one.

Watched the latest Indiana Jones and rather liked it. I understand that it was unpopular but I'm more of a SW guy anyways. Just something at the end that I personally would have ended differentely.

Double posting to say I watched, "Blue Beatle" not to bad if you get past some of the sterotypes they use for jokes.
