I'll post pics of Toothless when I'm done - which might be a while, since I'm back in school and have much less time to work on sewing projects.

I realized today that (at least in my family) when we eat a roast that is pork, we say "pork roast," but when the roast is of beef then we say "roast beef." Does anyone else do this? Does anyone know why??

Hey, as a question I probably should have put before everyone last November, is anyone particularly eager to foster-care a male breeding cat who (sadly) cannot come with the rest of the family as we wander about the continental United States trying to fundraise? We don't know (yet) when we'll be able to take him back (a month? a year? after we begin fundraising) but my mom said I should probably mention it on the TLC forums.

@hobbit: You know that I wish I could, but moving to a pet-friendly abode does not appear to be on my agenda at this time.

Shield, that is odd and I'd never before thought about that but now I am. We shorten both to "roast" however if it is so cooked. And if it's cooked in the crock pot it's beef roast. Hm. Interesting thoughts. I shall ponder this oddity.

And sorry Hobbit. I'm allergic to cats and ever since we got a dog Mom's realized that she doesn't like cats any more, especially unfixed males

So, I get to make my own assignments for my German class: watching movies, reading books, all that sort of stuff. It's gonna be great!
