Hello, all! Just setting up this thread for live commentary for TLC's showing of Disney/Walden Media's 2008 adaptation of Prince Caspian. Just a reminder, the event starts Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 5:00 pm Pacific Time. Get your movie going at that time and join in on the discussion on this thread as we watch the film together.
If you can't make it for the event itself (or come in late), you're still welcome to join the discussion as you watch it on your own time.

I just skimmed this thread and love the idea of watching a film together while chatting about it. I hope to make the next group screening whenever that may be

Do we have any thoughts on what and when to watch next time? VDT or BBC Narnia?

Personally, I’d prefer VDT just to round out the Walden trilogy.

It didn’t used to bother me as much, but now? It does. Still watch it, still enjoy it for what it is, but I tend to complain a whole lot more.

I should be able to contain myself to mild crossness, with a little sarcasm thrown in. Probably some sincere appreciation for Will Poulter's acting and the design of the Dawn Treader.

Yes, it is best not to take the adaptions too seriously so that we can enjoy them. And DT was better than some adaptions - such as the one for Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
