Well, it's like Duck, Duck, Goose, but for gooses (geese?) you make people do something, like wear a silly signature or have a silly location, or end posts with something, or write a poem, or something like that. Puddleglum is goose, and Jill is duck.

@sardh: It's a little strange, but if you stick around, you'll get the hang of it. It should also be noted that while it's not uncommon to see the "duck" word (in this thread's case, that'd be "Jill") within a sentence that has nothing to do with the game; this is certainly not necessary. Some of us do it just as a vehicle to indicate that we are both "ducking" and choosing to say something else on top of that. For example...

Jill just found out that one of her best friends is going to have a baby!!!
