Ariel: Doctor Hedgehog is adorable.

[Moving over some material incorrectly posted in the Narnian thread instead of general Fan-art...]
I got Wrosie's permission to post links for a couple of fanarts I did in a Watercolor class I was taking this semester. One of them is a Doctor Who picture, and one of them's Fullmetal Alchemist.

One of my classmates paid me for the Doctor Who one. I'm iffy about the gear-shadows on the walls, but really super-happy with the wings. ^_^

Here's a sketch I did of a How to Train Your Dragon self-insert. It's my part of a self-insert collab project hosted by someone I met at the midnight showing of DoS (interesting story behind that). Anyway. I sketched her late last week and only got to digitizing her last night. That included a long process of fixing up a couple proportion issues, colouring, and shading. I'd started on the outlines like I did on my Snow White picture, but that would have taken me into the wee hours of the morning at best, so I just left the pencil sketch on underneath. I might just keep it that way, but we'll see.

Wow! The colours, shading, and details are amazing. The way you did the hair looks as if it's actually dangling there. I think the pencil sketch underneath looks good. ^.^
