Gypsy and I are hanging out in our older sister's room at 2 am to write. We're attempting to pull an all-nighter. My word count is doing pretty well today at nearly 3,000 words :)
how is everyone else's word counts doing?

I'm currently attempting to novel to three bassoons practicing a piece downstairs. It was fine at first, but then they started playing the beginning over and over and over, and I don't like the beginning as well. I had been noveling to some Bach organ pieces before the other bassoonists came over to practice with my sister...

Anybody else noveling to music?
They might not need me but; they might.
I'll let my Head be just in sight;
A smile as small as mine might be
Precisely their necessity.

I'm writing to the beautiful sounds of The Lord of the Rings musical. I'm currently stuck on "Star of Earendil", "Finale" "The Final Battle", "The Road Goes On," and "The Cat and the Moon. Besides that, last night I turned on some fan videos of LotR, one called "Trolling Saruman" and the other called "They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard." They are short songs having fun with some of the shots and lines in the films. Somebody took the short little one minute songs and combined them into ten hour long videos. Yes, I listened to those a long time last night. :)

I've almost always got something blasting in my ears when I'm writing, and more often than not it's something by Loreena McKennitt. My writing soundtrack varies slightly depending on what it is I'm writing, but she's typically a large part of it. And this year's NaNo is no different. :P

Currently, I'm listening to Ed Sheeran's brand new song titled "I See Fire" which will be the credit song for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. I've also been enjoying For King & Country's album 'Crave,' and fun, bouncy music by Jamie Grace.

@Lily I'm behind on my word count too. I wrote one word yesterday. I was so proud of myself. :lol:
