How do you all post pictures directly into the forum?
I looked up various pictures of her, including as Lady Deadlock, and then recognised her from Great Expectations. Fransesca Annis might be good too, though possibly a bit old.

Yes, with the kids, you have to remember that we need to consider how old they'll actually be when filming happens.

As for posting pictures, please remember to follow all picture posting rules.
https://www.thelionscall.com/forum/view ... ?f=32&t=44

These rules are specific for the avvie/siggy/artwork sections but similar rules apply. Remember, with respect to pictures like these not to have them too large, and do not "hotlink". This means you must upload the picture you want to appear to a graphics hosting site like photobucket or tinypic first. Then take that URL and place it between [img] tags. You can't simply copy the URL from a webpage like Wikipedia or IMDB and put that between tags because it puts strain on the servers of those sites.

@Jaygee: Yeah, I can see her being a good bad guy, but she's not as young-looking as I always thought the LotGK.

I think Rufus Sewell would make a fine Puddleglum. His face is rather square, but when he has lank hair and is acting as sarcastic as his character did in "Amazing Grace," it's pretty easy to think of him as Puddleglum:

@Esprit: I love you!! I totally forgot about him! And he's got that kinda dryish voice and we all know he can pull off the long, greyish hair look. And his eyes are kinda predominantly round.

Any ideas for voice actors for non-human characters (like Glimfeather?)

Also, should they use Peter Dinklage again for Trumpkin? And what about Old!Caspian?

Whoa-- four people agreed with me. 0_O But, seriously, I was thinking of Puddleglum whenever that character came on screen in "Amazing Grace"; it's cool to know that other people thought the same as me. :P

For Old!Caspian: Maybe they can put Ben Barnes in a ton of prosthetics, like they did with Merlin in the BBC show. I would die of laughter. Or maybe Ben Barnes has a grandfather or something...

Two seasons of Merlin have brought these actors to my attention:

Rilian: Bradley James
There are several scenes I've come across in the series thus far in which I just think, "Yep. That's Rilian right there." or "I could see Rilian doing that." or "Oh yeah. If he can do that, he can pull off Rilian." And I like his voice. And... he's had plenty of practice with acting enchanted and in several different forms at that.

LotGK 1: Katie McGrath
She plays Morgana in the series. I haven't seen her go dark-side yet, so I don't know how she does with all-out villainy just yet, but I like her performance so far. She can do sweet and charming as well as spitfired and vengeful. And she looks fantastic in green.

LotGK 2: Michelle Ryan
She plays a villian in the series and though she shows mostly the evil, witchy side, she's also got it balanced with a disarmingly innocent act that I really appreciated. Not to mention that the first thought I had when she laughed almost tinklingly at one point was, " :o That's LotGK's laugh!!!"
