Re: The Silver Chair - who would you cast?
Forget what I said about Dakota Goyo as the new Eustace (though I sure wouldn't rule him out completely). I think I'd rather see this guy in the role:
Robbie Kay plays Peter Pan in Once Upon a Time. The only problem is that he can only stay young-looking for so long (as we discovered with Will Poulter). He's currently 18.

Personally, no, ew, I couldn't stand him as Eustace.

Robbie Kay? Too pointy. Can't see him as Eustace

I find Alan Rickman a tempting choice for Puddleglum. :p
As for the other roles, I'd have to think about that. My first though for LOTGK is Gabrielle Anwar, but I'm not sure of her range...

What about Cate Blanchett for the role of LotGK? Kind of a Galadriel-esque type role, obviously with more evil. But I really like the idea of Gillian Anderson too, and Bradley James would be PERFECT for Rilian.
I think Chloe Grace Mortez could actually still play a really good Jill. She's only 16.

Mm. I can see Gillian Anderson a lot more easily than Blanchett. I know Blanchett can do mysterious, and she can do cold, but we've already had a mysterious and cold witch. LoTGK need to be able to be vivacious at need, if that makes sense, and I'm not sure how she is with that.
My thought with Gabrielle Anwar (BBC Ramandu's Daughter, natural hair-color is brunette) is that I know she can be kind-seeming and mysterious, and I also know she can giggle and smile and flirt from what I've seen of her elsewhere. And I really like her face with the role. My question is how well she can do Evil. :p
Chloe Grace Mortez... *looks up* I guess I can see that. She's cute and has some schoolgirl-looking pictures, in any case.
Bradley James -- While I don't doubt his range, and he's got a nice face, and I definitely favor light-haired Rilians, I'm worried that if he got the role all people would be able to think would be "hey, that's Arthur." Could he make the role his own to the extent where people could see The Silver Chair through the bright glare of That Guy On Merlin?

Chloe Grace Mortez would be pretty good.
I am in favor of light haired Rilians as well.

I've never seen Bradley James in anything, but he looks like he'd be a good Rilian.
