What...no! You kids are too young to be driving around ;)

Just kidding. Congrats Shi! It still strikes me as odd, 'cause in SA you can't get your license till you're 18 (and therefore usually finished school). Also, I only got mine when I was 21 so it seems even weirder when teenagers are getting their licenses.

Congrats Shi! Getting a drivers license seems a bit intimidating (for me at least) so I haven't gotten one yet. :P But I'm sure it's fun to be able to drive. :D

My parents forced me to take lessons and drive. :) Hated the idea of driving. Still not a fan. :lol:

Speaking of driving, I just got back from being the Responsible Adult supervising my brother who is very close to getting his license. It feels a bit odd that I'm old enough to do that. Also odd to have to pay attention to what's going on while someone else is driving :P but it was exciting. :) I think it's the second or third time I've driven with him...

Also, our dirt road was recently graveled! So all those unavoidable potholes are gone (until next time it rains)! very exciting. :) I love driving on the dirt road--especially without the excessive potholes!
They might not need me but; they might.
I'll let my Head be just in sight;
A smile as small as mine might be
Precisely their necessity.

Ariel! That's me! That is so me!

No more potholes! :D In Zambia, we used to drive over so many roads full of potholes that there was hardly any part of the road that didn't look like a bunch of meteorites crashed there. :P

Thanks Ajnos, Ella :)
I'm actually past the typical age for getting a license. I'm older than what I probably seem. :)

Congratulations on your driver's license, Shi, however old you are! It's always an accomplishment.

Me too. Completely. One of the things I miss about Oxford - being able to walk most places. And take a bus others.

I was aware as I wrote that, Shi, that you might be older. One of the odd effects of an online community like this ;)

Wow. I've been gone a long time. Congrats, Shi!

My parents want me to get my license before I move out of their place...most people in my class already have their licenses. Which is weird because when I was little, all I wanted was to be able to drive, and then I turned old enough and I wasn't in such a huge hurry. :P
