Re: Jill, Jill, Puddleglum
Jill had a magical afternoon yesterday: I attended a performance of the LotR symphony! I was positively beaming for all of FotR in particular - excepting the long break afforded by the Lothlorien sections - and could not not smile whenever the Fellowship leitmotif came up. I already loved the soundtrack, but you don’t realize just how magical Howard Shore’s score is until it’s live: the brass fanfare of the Fellowship that stirs you to greatness, the sopranos mourning Gandalf, the basses accentuating the Balrog’s coming, the strings singing the simple pleasures of returning to the Shire....

Re: Jill, Jill, Puddleglum
*gaaaaasp* Oh my goodness, Ariel, that sounds amazing!! I've never gotten to attend a performance of LOTR music (I've played LOTR soundtrack stuff before, but once with just a string quartet and once with a tiny, very amateurish orchestra, so it didn't have quite the same effect ) so oh my worrrrrrd!! *wishes I could have heard it too*
Jill finally got around to writing the maid of honor speech for my sister's wedding. And only just under two weeks before the wedding! No, I didn't procrastinate on this at all, why do you ask? Now all I have left is to memorize it.
........I'm so dead. It's a good thing this is a short speech.

If somebody has an idea for a Narnia comic that they weren't planning on making themselves, I <------ This offer still
would be so grateful if they would send it to me in a PM. I am running appallingly low on ideas...! <-- stands.

Re: Jill, Jill, Puddleglum
@ Ariel: That is so cool!!!! ( ...!!!!) I've always wanted to go to something like that.
@ Hobbit: Good luck with your speech!
... Also, what is it with so many people getting married this year? My brother is getting married in September, and I can think of about 5 other people I know who are getting married within the next year.
Jill drank coffee and is now hyper! Yaaaay!
