I agree. Peter's cover is, of course, beautiful, but I do prefer Billy Boyd's a bit more.

I'm the same way, Ariel. I just feel Billy Boyd's version has a little bit more dynamics and a certain nostalgia to it!

Re: Hobbit Discussion *SPOILERS* Thread
This doesn't have to do with the current Hobbit but it has to do with an older adaptation, the earliest actually, and I wanted to share it because it's so laughable as it strays soooo far from the source material which makes it much like a spoof, (it even comes with the exaggerated definition of a Mary-Sue (the kind that wear pink sparkly dresses and fall in love with one of the main characters)):

O_O I... can't... force myself to watch this any longer. And I'm stopping at a minute and twelve seconds.

It's terrible, right? Well, at the end Bilbo and the princess rule Dale together then move back to Bag End... (oh yeah, and they kill "Slag" with the Arkenstone...).

Re: Hobbit Discussion *SPOILERS* Thread
Can anyone remember where in the movie Bilbo said, "Yes, but bigger, much bigger."? I've been wracking my brain and can't figure it out.

Do you remember which movie or a location or anything else of the context? (Even a shot of someone looking a certain way or something?)

It's at the beginning of DoS when Bilbo tells the dwarves that there is more than orcs chasing them. Here in this clip at 1:30:
