On the couch a green pig
Danced a long, graceful jig
When Kristi had a birthday.
Through a window there flew
All the birds from the zoo
When Kristi had a birthday.
On the ceiling, a giraffe
Enjoyed a long laugh
When Kristi had a birthday.
By the fire reclined
A purple dragon most kind
When Kristi had a birthday.
All around our dear friend
Came well-wishers without end
