Letters to Father Christmas

Post by Ajnos » Tue Dec 15, 2020 4:13 pm

Here's the place to tell Father Christmas what you want for Christmas this year.

Give him ideas about your favourite things, themes and fandoms and the kind of online presents you enjoy.

Dear Father Christmas,

How has this year been for you? Not too, too insane, I hope?

In the event you’re like some of my friends, and you’re not quite sure what to drop off (which I assume is a highly unlikely scenario, given that you’re Father Christmas and all), here are a few starting ideas.

Fandom goodies are always welcome. My top fandoms (and characters therein) are:
Narnia (Aslan, Peter, Edmund, Trufflehunter, Tirian)
Middle-earth (Aragorn, Sam, Eomer, Faramir, Bilbo (Hobbit version, not LotR), Balin)
How to Train Your Dragon (Hiccup and Toothless)
Big Hero 6 (movie only, not the show) (Tadashi, Baymax, Hiro)
Disney Princess (Belle, Mulan, Merida, Rapunzel)
Young Justice (seasons 1 and 2 only) (Aqualad, Robin/Nightwing)
Marvel Cinematic Universe (Captain America, Bucky Barnes, Falcon, Spider-man, Black Panther, Ant-Man)
Tron: Uprising (Beck, Paige)

Sets, short fanfics, music videos, other cool videos (eg: speedpaints, prop replica building, etc), memes, and such are to my liking. (It probably goes without saying that I like fanfics to have at least a decent quality of writing. But I’m sure any you’d select will bet of the better variety anyway.)

I’m also interested in cake decorating inspiration (but please nothing too advanced! I’m not ready for that), especially if it’s fandom-related or easily adapted to fit a fandom. (I say “cake decorating”, but other sweets-making apply too.)
It wouldn’t hurt to maybe have a few woodburning tutorials.... I picked up a new hobby this year and, honestly, I jumped in without doing any kind of research....

I think that should give you a pretty good start. Thank you for everything!
Long live Aslan, and Merry Christmas!

Dear Father Christmas,

I have been a very good giraffe this year. Since I have to be at home most of the time right now, what I would really like for Christmas are some of the beauties of nature to enjoy.

Thank you, and Merry Christmas!

A smile as small as mine might be
Precisely their necessity.

Hi!
I like any fandom goodies as well. My top fandoms are:
-LotR/ Hobbit. (I like Legolas, Pippin, Aragorn, Boromir, Merry, Frodo, Sam, Faramir, and Bilbo) (I like the Hobbit version of Bilbo though)
-Marvel or MCU (I like Captain America, Black Widow, Loki, Bucky, and Spider-Man)
-Tron: Uprising (Beck, Zed, Paige, Tron, Mara)
-Narnia (Lucy, Aslan, Edmund, Peter, Caspian, Eustace, and Reep.)
-How to Train Your Dragon (Toothless, Hiccup, Astrid, Heather, Dagur)
-Ender's Game (Ender and Valentine)
(For these, I'm kinda like Ariel. I'll take sets, art, all that kind of stuff. I'm not too picky ;) )

And I would like some baking recipes as well (cooking recipes are welcome too :D )

Thanks! :)

Dear Father C

I hope things have been less crazy for you in the North Pole than elsewhere this year,

For Christmas I would like pictures, youtube videos (especially compilations/montages put to music), short fan fics, fun memes and anything else you think would be interesting.

My interests are Narnia, Tolkien, Star Wars (only the films as I don't have access to other stuff) and Doctor Who (but not the last series). I've also been watching Star Trek this year (TNG and Voyager - but no spoilers for the last season of Voyager please). And I like hedgehogs, but you know that :p

Thanks
Ajnos. >'.'<

Dear Father Christmas,

I hope you are well. I am fond of Narnia, LOTR, surprising bits of nature like starry caves, snails with clear shells, or the Northern lights. I also like automata and would like to find some nifty examples or patterns. Thank you!
