Ah, the Matrix, the movie that is an ode to the 90s.
....And honestly, I'm normally one who prioritizes plot over action and I normally don't like over the top action.
...The Matrix is the exception to this general preference. There's just something so mesmorizingly entertaining about the action scenes. Best part IMO.

Yeah, probably has something to do with the beautiful wire fu martial arts in there.

I haven't seen it myself. I never had an interest, though with my growing proclivity for question-asking sci-fi, I may not be totally adverse to seeing it one day, if only to say I did. I do know about some of the objectionable bits, particularly in relation to religious tones, and am not particularly whelmed about what I've heard.
Been rewatching BBC's Merlin recently.

Just watched Secret Life of Pets. It was an hour and a half of almost-uninterrupted jokes aimed at pet owners and animal lovers--which was wonderful--and it had a healthy dose of don't-judge-a-book-by-its-cover characters. It was, I can happily say, better than I was expecting.
If somebody has an idea for a Narnia comic that they weren't planning on making themselves, I <------ This offer still
would be so grateful if they would send it to me in a PM. I am running appallingly low on ideas...! <-- stands.

Don't watch Eragon unless you're okay with losing two hours. As someone who knew next to nothing about the book, I can attest to its being a bad film without any bias resulting from being attached to the book. I don't recall any objectionable content, but the story seemed slapped-together and the characters were not done well.

I love FMA: Brotherhood. Get ready to cry. A lot.
Just finished up Victoria this week! Another great season
And I also finished another anime that I know Ariel has watched (It involves Mech tanks, an alternate Britannia and me wondering if in all of their research of UK culture they ever looked up what actual Brits name their kids.).
