"Let there be wicked kings and beheadings, battles and dungeons, giants and dragons, and let villains be soundly killed at the end of the book. Nothing will persuade me that this causes an ordinary child any kind or degree of fear beyond what it wants, and needs, to feel. For, of course, it wants to be a little frightened.

There would be a concern how the Narnia movies would be rated. Even with how ratings are done differently around the world, they do have one thing in common- each ratings are usually done by tone of violence, language, sexuality, drug use, and drinking. This would be especially a concern for parents.

There are violent moments in Narnia, and any of them can easily be taken to a PG-13 level or even an R level (here in the US, that is). For example, the scene where the White Witch kills Aslan on the Stone Table could easily been shown. Both book and adaption tend to look away but you still know it happens.

Any thoughts on how the rating system should be for Narnia movies?
