Re: Narnia Songs
I would add, just about anything by Audiomachine. Their song "Creation" makes me think of Aslan's resurrection.

Re: Narnia Dreams
I love this thread! It's much fun to hear about all your dreams. The evil penguin reminded me of a Wallace and Grommit episode :). As a child, I had dreams about Narnia all the time because my mother read the stories to me before bed every night. But a favorite was a dream about VDT, where I was in ...

Re: Hobbit Discussion *SPOILERS* Thread
I finally got around to watching the final Hobbit movie :). I enjoyed the development of Thorin's character, how he went from falling into an obsession with wealth (dragon sickness) and then overcoming it. The scene where he saw himself being devoured by gold, and then throwing off his crown and rej...

Re: Wade Center: researching Dedication notes, etc.
What an exciting way to spend the weekend! I hope you have the chance to share some of your discoveries with us TLCers. I remember flipping through a book in a bookstore about his letters to children, and I remember being impressed by how he made ideas that could be hard to explain easy to understand.

Re: Your Narnian Coat of Arms
Great discussion topic, Kristi! I appreciate candles and stars in artwork, because natural light is beautiful and because I appreciate the idea of light shining in darkness as a symbol of my faith as a Christian. If I were to show up for a joust at Cair Paravel, I would be carrying a banner with a c...

Re: What two things would you want to be remembered for?
I would like to be remembered for courage and love. I'm afraid neither comes easily to me, so if I grow in either I'll be remembered for God's work in me.

I like Bradley James as Rillian! I never would have thought of that but he does have the prince thing down well.

Hey fellow campers! I ended out at 11,100. Not quite what I was aiming for, but certainly farther than I would have gotten if I had never tried

Re: Camp NaNoWriMo! Anybody In?
I've missed out on writing for a few days now because of traveling and preparing for a job interview. But tomorrow will be my big catch up day. I am at 8,000 and hoping to get to 11,000 by Sunday.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does it that way Islie! I always seem to move through what I am writing more smoothly if I write things out on paper first.
