Pieces for a friend's Nightmare Moon (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic)
Helmet:
Craft foam, Sculpey Clay, craft store masquerade mask base, acrylic paint, spray paint, nail polish, gorilla glue
Horn for Helmet, and shoulder brooches to fasten cape:
Sculpey clay, spray paint, acrylic paint, Hobby Lobby spider beads (re-painted), wings off Dollar Tree dragons (re-painted),
brass needle-and-latch (not seen)
Extra accessories for a re-take on my Luna:
Crown:
Sclupey clay, spray paint, nail polish, Hobby Lobby plastic jewel, gorilla glue, silk ribbon to tie on
Bead drape:

It took some time, but the results were fun.
I still can't sew worth a wink, but I've been getting better at wearable props to go with other folks' sewing... Guess there's enough overlap with sculpting and painting to give me a little bit of a boost?

Been daydreaming about doing another draft on the Dryad concept... plan more time for building a usable mask, costume jewelry, and tree-bits and use more of an autumn color scheme on the accessories and a leftover charcoal grey wraparound bridesmaid's-dress for the base/"trunk". Have started collecting supplies, need to run concept sketches before I start piecing it together in earnest. I might like to put progress shots here as I go...
