@Tooky: Definitely agreed on Sherlock.

Last night, I watched the second-saddest episode of the anime I was watching before. (Or maybe it's third-saddest. Let's go third-saddest. I think I was more sad with one that comes later.)

Ah so what is Twilight Zone really like? I have some friends that have seen it, and a couple of them like it. Are they worth watching?

@Pev: if you like creepy and eerie and sometimes quite scary, but without gore or language or a lot of the stuff that comes with straight-up horror, then yes, it's definitely worth watching. :)

@Ariel Just wait until you get to FMA. It's designed to make you weep. Saddest funeral ever.

I consider Twilight Zone horror, but I consider there to be two kinds of horror. There's visual horror, which is what a lot of modern horror movies are, a lot of jump cuts and gore and slashing. I don't care for visual horror and avoid it like the plague. However, I don't mind the occasional psychological horror. Psychological horror is stuff like Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock, a lot of Doctor Who episodes where what's on the screen being shown isn't particularly scary, but the implications of what's going off on screen or what's going on inside the character's minds is terrifying.

I really appreciate things like the Twilight Zone and Hitchcock. Psycho being my favorite of the latter's films, but that may somewhat under visual horror for a few scenes.

I just got back from Hidden Figures. Loved it! And I'd recommend it to anyone really, but for mild swearing if one takes issue with that. :)

@Ariel: It's based on the true stories of three brilliant women who were instrumental in NASA'S space program in the 1960s even while facing the discrimination that came with being a black woman. They were behind the mathematics and calculations that went into the launching of space craft.
