@Engee: Yeah, it has been fun. We apparently have one more day of London and one day less of Oxford. Which meant that we were able to fit stuff in today without rushing, which was really nice. We've been walking a lot, so it was nice to have a slower pace.

@Dill Thanks! Jaygee made it. Peter's my favorite character. :)

@Ariel Oh, well, that's nice! Did you see Big Ben and the London Eye?

So happy for you Ariel. I think you've now been in London more days than I was :P You've certainly seen more than me (I was there over Christmas and stuff was closed).

@Engee: Yes, I got to see both of them. We stood under Big Ben three times, actually, and though we didn't go on it, we got pretty close to the London Eye. And my room for those nights had a view of both Big Ben and the London Eye, so that was cool. (It actually inspired me to draw a picture of the view from my window, but it probably won't be done for a while since I need to concentrate on more important things when this vacation ends tomorrow.)
@Shi: Thanks! We had a lovely time in London and Edinburgh (minus the stupid ghost tour we didn't realize we had gotten into) and had a pretty good day-one-of-two in Oxford (mostly walking around; we're planning on going into a few places tomorrow).
@Ajjie: Wow, really? By the way... I've said it many times on this trip (those in my group have certainly heard it a few times): I really wish you were still at Oxford so we could have met. :(

That's so cool! I wish I was there with you right now. We have friends in Edinburgh and I'd love to be there visiting them again. That city is seeping with history. When we were there we took a bus trip around the city one afternoon. We were driving along and the tour guide said, "And there on your right (or left) is a statue of William Pitt, Great Britian's youngest Prime Minister." And my siblings and I were jumping up and down. "It's WILLIAM PITT!!!" Nobody else on the bus even knew who he was. :P We'd been studying William Wilberforce and William Pitt in school right before that and Amazing Grace had just released, so of course we knew who William Pitt was! (played by Benedict Cumberbatch in Amazing Grace. ;))

@Engee: Yeah, Edinburgh does seem to teem with history.
Wait, there was a statue of William Pitt in Edinburgh?! I would have liked to see that. As it was, we skipped Westminster Abbey (and therefore Pitt's and Wilberforce's graves) while we were in London.
Heehee, every time I think of William Pitt, I think of Cumberbatch. And most times I think of Cumberbatch, I think of William Pitt.
