I want a horse (or several horses) of my own someday, a strong type that's also beautiful and sweet. Perhaps a Gypsy Vanner or a rescue ex-racehorse since they're passed by due to their bad reputation, which doesn't hold for every 'off-the-track' horse. I love dogs so one or two of a medium/big build, (breed doesn't really matter to me) - loyalty, friendship, a willing heart, I can ask no more than that. :) One kitty ought to do. Maybe a donkey since I love them and I could name it Puzzle.

Well, I've had chickens for about five years or so, and we were down to about 8. :( And my mom was really tired of them messing up all the flower gardens and we have to keep them heated all winter and so we decided it was time for them to move on. They have a very nice home down the road at our friends' house. They even got a couple roosters. ;) They seem very happy there. So now currently we have two dogs (medium size, pure-bred Australian Cattle dogs) and two cats (a long-haired calico, and a short-haired muted orange tabby).

When I grow up, I'd like a cat or two. I love watching them sleep. Especially snugly cats, like Lance, my tabby. He's just so sweet. He sleeps on my bed all day, doing school with me. I'd also like to have a dog, probably a mix, rescued or from an animal shelter. I'll still have my dog, Ranger, for a while though. I also want a turtle. I had a turtle when I lived in Zambia, and I'd love to have another one. Horses are cool, but I wouldn't want to own and take care of one. I'd like a chameleon some day too. I like unusual animals. :) I'd like a kakapo! Heeheehee!!

(@Ariel Yes, that's a great scene!! I've finally gotten caught up on that show. I'm actually liking Anna and Elsa. I didn't think I really would.)

(@Engee: I agree. I like Anna a lot more than I expected (I don't see the cartoon version of her doing swordplay, but I didn't mind it in the show). And I'm liking what I'm seeing from the Elsa actress, though I think her waves of inability and ability to control her powers are a bit convenient. (And I think the OUaT writers snuck a peek at one of my fic ideas, but anyway.) Also... costumes!! :D )

(@Ariel Yeah, that seem a bit OOC. That is true about Elsa. But I think they did a good job casting her. Kristoff, eh, I don't really like him, but he's growing on me. He seemed a bit too friendly and careless with Elsa. Though, I don't know how long he's known her at this point. Haha, that's funny!)

But only OOC for the cartoon Anna. It seems to suit OUaT Anna much better. But then, she's not an uber-awkward, uber-clumsy, somewhat air-headed teen in OUaT....
Heh, I like Kristoff well enough. Honestly, my biggest problem with him thus far is that... *Flynn Rider voice* they didn't get his nose right! :P Still waffling on the haircut. The actor looks great like that, but Kristoff doesn't seem quite as rugged. Anyway.
Elsa not yet comfortable in her own skin, still fearful of her powers, Hans & Bros coming to attack... yeah. It's all in my Notepad document. :D

I'm sorry this is completely out of context, because I am totally a OUAT fan (I've watched it since the first season and everything), but I'm not watching any TV til December after finals and I'm /really/ trying to avoid spoilers.

I just wanted to shout out to all the people here who ride horses - I am so jealous of your leg muscles. I went riding for the first time in like 10 years yesterday, and my legs have been killing me allllllll dayyyy. So, yeah, props to you guys. :)

ps. any tips on how to relieve the pain for first time riders? Seriously, I was walking at half pace to all my classes...

You shan't get spoilers from me, then, I promise!

This remedy works wonders after any activity that makes your muscles do not-your-usual things: jello water. Take half a package of jello, pour hot water over it, and drink it like a tea. Right before bed. It works best the day of, but even drinking it the day after is still a little helpful. (For the science part of it, the jello basically gives your body extra gelatin to work with, thus allowing your muscles to repair that much faster.)

I'm going to try that jello thing sometime! I told my mom about it and she was like  "Really? I'll have to remember that..." but we haven't really had a chance to do it yet.

would be so grateful if they would send it to me in a PM. I am running appallingly low on ideas...! <-- stands. :)

I had that reaction when my dad first had me drink it. That was the day I went skiing for the first time (I still resent my school for forcing me to go... *grumbles*). Let's just say that I'd almost forgotten about the ski trip when I went to school the next day. Then I started hearing everyone else talking about how sore they were. They took a look at me being rather normal and said, "How are you not sore?!"
And skiing uses a ton of muscles you don't realize you even possess, so for me to have hardly noticed any soreness... yeah.
Jello water is very helpful.
Someone recently told me the marshmallows can help too (again, with the gelatin), but I haven't tried it (not to mention I have no idea how many of those you're supposed to ingest for them to work...).
