I love landscape photography. I do a lot of backpacking and grew up in the middle of nowhere so I have a big appreciation for rural areas. I love trying to capture the beauty of God's creation through photography and film! Last week I went out to Texas to help one of my best friends move back to Oregon where I live now that he's graduated. Here are a few of my favorite pictures that I snapped and edited along the way on my cell phone. I had my good camera as well so I have even more great pictures that I'm sifting through on my computer!

Thanks guys! Here's another one I really liked of my trusty Panasonic GH2 on HWY 140. Which use mostly for film making, but it's a solid still camera as well. I've got some really cool panorama shots that I took that I just need to stitch together in the GIMP before I can actually share them anywhere.

I went to a lavender farm this summer and was snap-happy. Of the hundred photos I took, I think 6 actually turned out.

Those are really gorgeous, Shield! I love photography, too, but I've not really put much time into it.
