Finally finished another Doriath Elementary comic! This time, he gets to meet someone special.... Note that my framing on the second page is done poorly. Follow the sheathing motion down, then come back up to the second frame in the middle row, then down to the bottom right. (Click on the pictures to be able to zoom in some.)

And I don't remember which of two of my more recent baking ventures I said I'd share here, so... I'll post both!
First up is a doll cake inspired by Queen Tara from Epic. I'd joined a collaboration on Instagram in which we were to make fashion runway cakes, so instead of doing her actual dress from the movie, I "fashion-runway"-ed it.

And next are some Hawkeye cookies I did for a "coffee is life" collaboration. The cookies themselves are coffee shortbread, and the images are copies of comic frames in which Hawkeye is... well, drinking coffee. (Cookie copies of the comics were made by laying parchment paper over printouts, then poking tons of holes to mark the lines of the drawings, then placing the parchment paper over iced cookies and making a connect-the-dots drawing by filling in the poked-out dots with an edible marker, and then connecting the dots and colouring the images with edible paint.)

Thanks! As soon as I saw a “coffee is life” collaboration, these images popped up in my head. They were fun, once I was done with the couple of hours’ worth of poking holes with a needle.

I'm glad I've found that forum and thread, I've been working on translating investment projects for some Berlin real estate (link belatedly approved by Ariel.of.Narnia; not affiliated with TLC, click at your own risk) and looking at cool art in a forum that feels comfortable - if I can use this word - is really what I needed.
