While meeting Old Narnians and inviting them to a feast, Caspian was offered honey by the Bulgy Bears and a nut by Pattertwig. Share in the flavours of Old Narnian hospitality with a fusion of the two! (Adult supervision required.)
(Ingredient measurements differ in the video, but follow the same proportions.)
2 cups nuts and/or seeds
3 tbsp water
3 tbsp honey
1 tbsp oil or butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 350 F. Spread nuts/seeds evenly over baking tray and bake for 15 minutes or till roasted.
In a saucepan, combine water, oil/butter, and honey. Stir and bring to boil.
In a small bowl, combine sugar and salt.
Stir nuts/seeds into liquid mixture till coated evenly. Drain excess if necessary.
Cover baking tray with parchment paper. Spread nuts/seeds over tray. Sprinkle sugar mixture evenly over nuts/seeds. Stir if necessary.
Let cool and enjoy!
