After some consideration, it has been decided to alter the time for Writer's Group. Instead of having it at noon Pacific time, the chat room based meetings will now commence at 5:30pm Pacific time every Saturday, beginning February 7th.
If you have never been to Writer's Group, it is a gathering of writers of poetry and prose. We meet in the chat room to share writing with one another, brainstorm ideas, and do writing exercises. If you have attended previously but haven't been around for a few months, I encourage you to come by soon and check out the new things we are doing!
In order to better serve the TLC community, the staff of The Lion's Call requests that non-knighted members that attend our weekly Writers' Group submit any writings they wish to share to Tenethia or Ariel of Narnia for approval. Any administrators can also approve writings, but the best two to go to are Tenny and Ariel. This isn't any different from getting your links approved; it's just to make sure what is being shared is TLC-appropriate. Thanks for your cooperation!
Failing to have your story approved will result in you being prohibited from sharing your story that week, and if you proceed to share without permission you may be banned from that week's group.
Is poetry acceptable as well as stories?
It's been a long while since I've written story progress, but poems still happen.
Oh, yes, definitely, Lily! 🙂
Ditto what Tenny said. We would love to read your poetry!
