This is my Lucy costume, I found the red dress at a second hand store along with the white under skirt and thought they look great together. Then I got the crown for costume store and add silver leave to it and I also bought the little jar from a flee market and I order a replica of Lucy dagger, though can't really see it in this picture.

Ooh, nice!
Whoa, nice dress!
Oh...my...word. 😮 Beautiful!!!!
nice!
Great job! This is beautiful.
Thanks I love wearing that dress.
Funny story: last year wore the dress for Halloween, and the theater department was handing out candy to those kids at are school. There was this one girl, who was a per-teen, and she was wearing a green renaissance dress and gold crown.
The girl said "I bet I know who you are"
Me "Who?"
The Girl "Well I'm Queen Susan of Cair Paravel, and I'm guessing that Queen Lucy"
Me "Well it's good to see you my dear sister, have some candy"
The Girl "Your older the me"
I laugh and we took couple photos together, but sadly I don't have anymore.
I love finding people who match my costume! One college event I went to, I was Lucy. I found two Edmunds, three Susans, one Peter, and a White Witch. 😀
This is actually an old-ish one, but I didn't have nice pictures of it back when I frequented these boards.
These are my current Regency clothes. Chemise & dress are completely handsewn, the bodice is mostly machine with handsewn finishes, headcarf hemmed by hand & overdyed (it needs a new dye bath by now, I was wearing it all the time).
Photos taken in Slavkov u Brna (also known as Austerlitz).
ETA: The whole outfit was inspired by the portrait of Heinrike Dannecker by Schick (you can google it); the headscarf also by a 1797 French fashion plate.
Ooh! Looks nice, marmota!
Thanks, I'm rather proud of it. 😉
Nice! I always have high admiration for people who can sew!
Ooh!! What’s it made of?
Craft foam sheets and gold spray paint.
