That's a really nice costume, Hobbit of Narnia, and it's good you could start out with an easier one - not that that one's exactly easy. It's difficult coming up with a pattern for something on your own.

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you really knew Me, you would know My Father as well." - John 14:6-7a

Alrighty, so I slap-dash "costumes" together from various things in my wardrobe. The following four (plus one that I'm not posting yet) are the most recent.

And four of these five are options for me to wear to work this Friday (Oct 31), but I can't decide which look to go for. I'm dressing up for work on Friday, but I can't decide which look to go for! Based on the following pictures, place a vote for your favourite outfit. I will be asking other friends to vote as well. The outfit that scores the most wins!

Belle (Beauty and the Beast)

Black Widow (Marvel Cinematic Universe)

Elsa (Frozen)

Susan Pevensie (The Chronicles of Narnia)

My two brothers both vote for Black Widow. I'm going for Susan. 🙂

*Wishes she had stuff in her closet to 'dress up' at any time*
But anyway, I like the Susan one best. 😀

Thanks for the votes, guys! And feel free to ask non-TLC people too (as you've already done, hobbit! 😀 ). I want as many votes as possible. 🙂
@elanor: well, you might be surprised. I've been thinking of building a blog-site-thing to post simple fandom things (eg: how I decorated an Olaf cake, what things from my wardrobe I used for the above outfits, "inspired by" nail polish ideas, etc). Black Widow and Susan are super easy if you've got things that look remotely similar to what's in the movies. Elsa is a lot simpler than it looks. And Belle is really more of a "Belle-inspired" look, so... whatever you want, haha! 🙂

Can you see my pictures, Cor? Because if so I could reload Ariel's pics onto my blog and PM them to you... (Unless you'd prefer I didn't, Ariel?)

My vote goes for Susan 🙂

They might not need me but; they might.
I'll let my Head be just in sight;
A smile as small as mine might be
Precisely their necessity.

Results of my costume poll are in! Belle was so occupied in her library that only two guests found her. Black Widow was publicly active, gaining her news coverage from seven different reporters. Elsa tested her war council with a hike up to her ice palace; all but five turned back partway through the hike. Susan Pevensie, the Gentle, rose victorious over eight foreign lords during her archery tournament.
Thank you to the voters!

Man, you guys are awesome... I like designing stuff, but I'm really not much for sewing. >.<
Here's some stuff I've worked with, though. 🙂

The Holly Dryad - I can't remember if I've ever successfully posted this here before? This actually was from scratch, ish. Modified a skirt from Goodwill, added the draped top, sash, garlands, made the mask with paper and cloth leaves and glue, put twigs and foilage on latex gloves. It came out ok, although I keep wantign to revisit the concept and do better.

Princess Luna

Luna was not so much mine. Well she was, but I paid a friend to carry the weight of the sewing details because I knew it was out of my skill range. I just designed it, picked fabric, got the sash and boots, painted the insignia on the collar, and made the crown. My friend is amazing. I felt amazing wearing it.

Those are lovely! The colours of each go especially well with one another.
